Female Anagyrus vladimiri locate mealybugs with their antennae, sting the host and lay an egg in it. Parasitized mealybugs stop feeding on plant tissue and become yellow-brown. New adult parasties emerge through a hole at the back of the parasitized mealybug. One female wasp parastitizes up to 15 hosts per day.
